Regarding online gaming and streaming, our Latino brothers know no bounds! You can scour the internet and you’ll find many Latino streamers that play games with passion, making their channels interesting to follow.
A streamer is only as good as the games they play, so regardless of whichever streamer you watch, they should have content that is engaging enough to keep you hooked. I’ve been following a couple of streamers myself, and here are some of my favorites that you should check out too:
SpeCial
Hailing from Mexico, one of my favorites is SpeCial. His real name is Juan Carlos Tena Lopez and he is popular for playing StarCraft 2. Fun fact about StarCraft 2, it is one of the oldest eSports games, which makes it quite engaging to watch. Despite being this old, the game still stands out as not only an interesting game to play, but also to watch a streamer play it!
Some of SpeCial’s former teams include Kosmos, eXoN, and PSISTORM Gaming and he is currently part of the HyperONE team. SpeCial’s specialty (get the wordplay?) includes games such as Call of Duty, PUBG Mobile, Valorant, and so on but he is well-known for StarCraft 2.
If you want to get started with following the Latino gaming community, then you should start with SpeCial.
Juan Guarnizo
Another prominent name in the Latino streaming industry is Juan Guarnizo. Juan is known for his online Twitch endeavors, which helped him garner a staggering 8 million followers. Considering how massive the number 8 million is, Juan is among the most influential streamers in the Latino community.
I enjoy watching Juan’s streams on Twitch and I try not to miss one. He’s popular at streaming Marvel’s Spiderman, Grand Theft Auto, Call of Duty, etc. However, a stream is only fun to watch when your internet is least likely to give up on you while you are in the middle of it. I found Cox to be reliable enough to cater to all my streaming needs. To get an internet connection of your own, contact Cox servicio al cliente now to find out more, that too in Spanish!
In each of his broadcasts, Juan has around 25 thousand viewers which is a huge number because he broadcasts at different times of the day and his audience includes people from all over the world. He married another streamer, AriGamePlay, and considering how both of them are streamers and gamers, their matrimony alone brought them a lot of fame!
MKLeo
If you’re a fan of Super Smash Bros (honestly, who isn’t?), then you should follow MKLeo. Actually known as Leonardo Perez, MKLeo proved his mettle once he started playing Super Smash Bros, which is one of Nintendo’s most iconic games.
His main characters in the game include Mario and Luigi, but he plays with other characters too. Though the game has pretty fast mechanics, MKLeo has mastered all the moves, giving him an edge whenever he steps into a match. Some of MKLeo’s most iconic wins include Evo Champion, two times CEO Champion, Evo Japan Champion, two times SSC Champion, and three times Genesis Champion. This goes to show how amazing MKLeo is as a gamer.
El Mariana
Next up, we have Osvaldo Palacio, better known as El Mariana who not only streams his gameplay but also streams challenges. The best part about his streams and broadcasts is that he includes other streamers as well through various collaborations.
El Mariana has more than 4 million followers on Twitch along with 11 thousand subscribers. One thing that makes him stand out is that his streams feature Mexicans (represent!) and influencers from all over the world.
Geometrics
Out of all first-person shooter games, Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege has always been among my favorites. The streamer I love watching play it is Emilio Leynez Cuevas, commonly called Geometrics. Geometrics excels at Rainbow Six Siege because of the game’s brilliant utilization of strategy, coordination, and tactics. Plus, the gun physics of the game is too realistic, making it a plus point.
Geometrics has always mostly scored second place, this includes tournaments such as the NAL S1, the Six August of 2022, the Pro League Season 11 North America, and the Pro League Season 9 finals. Despite always coming second, Geometrics is still among my favorite Latino gamers.
Shadoune666
If you’re into sandbox games like Minecraft, then Shadoune666 is your guy to watch. The 26-year-old streamer showed what he’s made of in the Squid Craft Games 2 (Survival Cup) where he bagged second place. He was also the streamer with the highest viewership.
Minecraft has always been a pretty interesting game, not only does it keep you engaged but the strategy is enough to keep you hooked, even if you are watching a streamer play it. In that case, I always find it fun to watch Shadoune666 play it.
Something More to Remember
If you wish to make the most out of your streaming experience, be sure to engage with your favorite streamer. Who knows they might be friendly enough to reply to you some time. Not only that but also keep in mind that while you watch a stream, you represent the people of your country since the audience is from all over the world. Always remember to be kind and supportive in the comment section!
